  1. DRAW TOOL: draw line and curve segments

  4. - Position the crosshair and click to start a new path.
  5. - Move the crosshair to the end of the first segment.
  6. - Click to end a line segment, or
  7.   Drag to create a curve segment. Release the mouse to
  8.   define the curve.
  9. - Press Esc to end the path or choose the Close Path tool
